THURROCK & DISTRICT BOWLING ASSOCIATIONS

Welcome to the web site home page for all Thurrock Bowlers

Further information received today the 2nd of April regarding the greens at United Services and South Ockendon these are the only two greens still being mantained by the council, An email sent by Mr James Catton on behalf of the council to the T&dba secretary Mr Dave Jago states the council are cancelling up and coming green inspections,
It also stated that the above greens will continue to be mantained by the council throughout the coming season to keep them at a good standard in case play resumes this year.

In a further email Dave asked James what is the position regarding council green fees for this year, his response was if there is no bowls on those two greens this year then there will be no fees charged,if half a season takes place then 50% of the full fee will be charged.

Important information for all T&dba & TALBA members after a meeting this morning 23.03.2020 of the T&dba Executive, it was agreed owing to the Corona virus that there would be no Mens Leagues, Mens Competitions or Mens T&dba Friendlies in the 2020 season, I have also been advised that TALBA have followed the same template,

We wish you all good luck in what ever you find to do in the coming months, but more importantly we wish you all good health.
Kind Regards Robbie Clark and the T&dba Executive Committee   To view the minutes of this meeting click here
